We’re thrilled to celebrate a historic milestone: LIONMARK Frenchies is now home to our very first homebred AKC Champion!
Introducing (AKC Pending) CH Goldshield’s Next of Kin with Mystik, affectionately known as Patrick—co-bred with the exceptional team of Perry Payson and Hilary Branscum, and owned by Charlie Hays, Ron McNary, and Perry Payson.
This turquoise-collar boy is a standout son of Swayze × Yarra, born August 6, 2024. From the very start, Patrick was confident, correct, and full of promise—a true representation of what we strive to produce at Lionmark.
At just 7 months old, Patrick made his show debut last week in Kansas City, MO, and his performance was nothing short of remarkable:
- Best in Sweepstakes
- 3-point major going Best of Winners
- 2 Reserve Winners
- And now, his 4th major win, officially securing his Champion title!
To say I’m proud is an understatement. It has been an incredible journey raising Patrick, and watching him rise through the ranks so quickly has been both rewarding and emotional.
A special thank you to Mr. Raymond Filburn for recognizing Patrick’s potential in the ring—an extra special moment, as Patrick’s dam, Yarra, also won under Mr. Filburn as a puppy. Talk about full circle!
Patrick was hand-selected to represent the Goldshield and Mystik team, and he has exceeded every expectation. He is not just a win in the ring—he’s a win for our entire breeding vision.
